K-pop (abbreviation of Korean pop; Hangul: 케이팝) is a music genre originating in South Korea that is characterized by a wide variety of audiovisual elements. Although it includes all genres of “popular music” within South Korea, the term is often used in a narrower sense to describe a modern form of South Korean pop music drawing on a range of Western styles and genres, such as Western pop music, rock, jazz, hip-hop, R&B, reggae, electronica and techno. For K-pop performing classes (kids, teens & adults), students will be taught various dance techniques and dance routine incorporated with group transformations. They will also learn to enhance their performance qualities with further polishing of steps and expression. In our course, there will be a 15-minute warm-up at the beginning of each training session. After warm-up, students will be taught a K-pop Dance routine by either the original K-pop artists or freestyle choreography by our instructors.
Towards the end of the session, students will be videoed while dancing for their private review to strength their stage confidence.
